On my Journey to 30, I have definitely been transformed by God and the truth I find in His bible verses. For this post of the Journey to 30 series, I want to provide you all with a list of some of my favorite bible verses for moms or scriptures that have been pivotal in helping me overcome and thrive on my single mom journey.
Being a Christian does not make my circumstance problem free. But it allows me to see life from a different perspective, kingdom perspective rather than problem perspective.
My favorite way to lean into the scriptures or bible verses for moms is through topical research. What I am going through at that moment I find a scripture to help me understand why and help me get through to see another day.
Scriptures or bible verses (whatever you prefer) are our weapons for the enemy. We fight our battles and the lies that come to take us out with His truth.
I will tell you from experience….it WORKS!
The bible says:
The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences. Proverbs 18:21
I don’t know about you but I choose life no matter what. So making sure I filll my thoughts, my heart, and my words with truth and life giving statements are a must. Therefore, I created a list of scriptures to keep in my arsenal to uplift me as a woman and as a mother in the busyness of life. Check them out now!
I hope these scriptures sparked a fire in you or pruned you where you needed to make adjustments. God’s Words individually are impactful, but when you take each scripture that speaks to you and begin to meditate on all context around it, the bible comes alive.
I’ve used various lists of scriptures or bible verses to be a starting point. If you have trouble knowing where to start to study the bible. Look up scriptures around what you’re going through at the time. It fills me everytime and quenches my curiosity.
