14 Bible Verses To Remind You To Strengthen Your Relationship With God

Spread the love

As I was preparing this blog post, I just thought about God and how awesome he’s been in my life. I have been on this journey to make gratitude a lifestyle, and I am doing well so far, going 25 days strong. Woot, Woot! One thing that I am grateful for is the opportunity to have a relationship with God. And as I was researching and studying each scripture for this post, I realized how hard it was in the old testament to be ‘right with God’. I am so grateful for the new covenant!

So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.

Thank God for New Life and New Relationship!

For this week of health month, we are discussing all things regarding spiritual health. When I think of spiritual health, God is the only relationship worth considering to improve my spiritual health. I know that not everyone believes in Christ and the story of how things begin. But one thing I do know if my life is not a testament for you to see that God is the game-changer in all our health needs, I don’t know what to tell you.

Spiritual health is all about working toward creating a meaning to life and growing our perception to show us our strength to withstand, in return overcoming confusion or tainted perspective on how we’re experiencing our inner world. The only way to improve this is through the connection with the creator of life itself.

The Call To Relationship With God

I am no preacher or pastor, and I do not present myself like that. All I know is that I was a sinner in need of a savior, and that’s running testimony.

Now, if you have a relationship with God already, then the scriptures I share will be a resource to help you evolve your relationship with God.

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Psalm 119:105

If you do not have a relationship with God, I encourage you to consider one with Him. God has changed my life as a single mom, woman, visionary, and friend. He has transformed my life in so many ways, including turning all my other relationships around. I chose God not for what he has done but because of His faithfulness and love.

The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. Psalm 145:9

Take your time as you go through these 14 scriptures. I chose 14 because 14 represents being perfectly complete, and that is something I desire in my relationship with God, and I bet you do too.

And before you dive in, ask God what he wants you to learn from these scriptures to apply to your life. My favorite thought leader, Dr. Dharius Daniels, introduced me to this strategy to make my scripture study time more impactful.
